Wash your robe every week, even if you don’t see it stained.
Hang it open, in a ventilated place, to dry thoroughly.
If you can, leave it in the sun from time to time.
Having two gowns to rotate is a great help.
Your robe should be a clean hug, not a garment that “returns” old smells.
8. Not rinsing your armpits thoroughly after waxing or shaving
When shaving the armpits, the following is removed:
hair
dead skin,
deodorant residues,
surface bacteria.
If you don’t rinse thoroughly after shaving and apply deodorant right away, those residues get trapped in the newly exposed skin. Result: more irritation and persistent odor.
A small improvement in your routine
After shaving or waxing, rinse your armpits with warm water and gently wipe with a clean washcloth or washcloth.
Dry with a soft towel and wait a few minutes before applying deodorant.
If you notice a lot of irritation, consult with a professional about the type of product that is best for you.
Finishing the process well makes all the difference in the feeling of freshness.
Small changes that make a big difference
None of these habits, on their own, seem “serious.” They are everyday gestures: a towel that we use too much, a robe that we adore, the toilet lid that we leave open without realizing it.
However, the sum of these details directly influences how we feel in our own body:
more comfortable,
fresher,
safer when approaching others.
Aging does not mean losing freshness or dignity. It means learning to take care of ourselves in a new, more conscious and kind way.
Give yourself permission to make these small adjustments. They are simple, do not need expensive products and send a very important message to your body:
“I see you, I listen to you and I take care of you with affection.”
